It is important to store your scarves carefully if you want to keep them longer. Like all clothes, they are easily susceptible to wrinkling, tearing and damage.

It is mandatory to take care of them to keep them in good condition. In the beginning, in order not to crease them, we roll them up and put them in drawers. We end up no longer seeing those at the bottom and they are quickly all crumpled when we look a little bit further.

Here are some good ideas on how to organize and store your hijabs to better spot your scarves when getting ready. We have also attached links to shop hangers and boxes that will help you keep everything organized and neat. Worldwide shipping is available for all products.

1- You can use hangers to organize your hijabs and trust me, there are so many different styles and designs that you will get a headache making a decision. The hangers come in many forms according to your preferences but mostly according to your hijabs meterial. You can pick these ones with holes for chiffon hijabs as the fabric doesn’t wrinkle.

You can also use regular hangers and tie your hijabs nicely. Pro tip: use each hanger for almost similar tones.

 2. You can use simple boxes or the ones with dividers to store your hijabs. This inexpensive solution is very practical. You can find cardboard bags or fabric boxes for very little money and store them under the bed or at the bottom of a wardrobe. You can roll up your scarves and place them in the boxes or in the boxes’ dividers.

3- You can use drawers as well to store your hijabs, however, dedicate them for thick hijab material such as cottton or jersey hijabs. You can roll them up and place them next to each other playing with shades for a nice combination of colors.

4- You can use hangers rack to tie up your hijabs, it’s suitable for chiffon hijabs but also for other materials. You can use the knot of your choice and keep it loose to be able to get your hijabs easily. Nothing beats a white rack as you can use all type of hijab colors on and add a beautiful touch to your room. Pro tip: Hang in only the hijabs of the season and store the rest for later.

5- It’s silly but you can simply fold and store your scarves flat and visible on shelves than to pile them up. You can use those already present at home or buy practical ones  from Ikea. This type of storage is more interesting not to damage the scarves but if you have printed scarves, the patterns are not visible enough with a classic shelf. To be able to keep them in balance and the same shape I advise you to use these plastic clothes stacking boards from HERE
